The churches in the Suffolk and Metropolitan Associations join enthusiastically with United Church of Christ churches across the nation in opening our doors to all who would worship with us. "God is Still Speaking" is the theme of our extravagant welcome. Making personal connections with those who seek a church home is our goal.

"We can't be disciples of Jesus without being fishers of men, women, boys and girls." These words from Geoffrey Black, former Minister of the New York Conference, United Church of Christ, make it clear why we feel called to share God's abundant love.

Churches throughout New York State are working with the Casting Your Nets initiative to develop welcomes appropriate to the needs of the communities they serve.
