Here is the place where you relax to take in the view.

New conference officers were installed.

First Congregational Church of Poughkeepsie “spoke out” about its fundraiser. This headgear identified those “speaking out” for the Casting Your Nets church vitality program. Stimulating workshops dotted the agenda.

We commissioned the search committee for a NY Conference Minister. And we charged our Synod delegates. Bonnie Bates gave gifts of thanks to Rick Cowles who leaves his work as Regional Conference Minister to be Senior Minister to the Church of the Apostles in Lancaster, PA.

His baby picture begins the Memory Book signed by many for Rick at the Annual Meeting. Our young participants presented “It’s Cool in the Furnace” under the guidance of Martha Koenig Stone. We dedicated our offering at the final worship.

Freeman Palmer led the talented choir. Michael Piazza was our keynoter and preacher at our closing worship. Interim Conference Minister Rita Root led many aspects of our time together.

The benediction closed worship at Silver Bay. Friends, and Regional Conference Ministers Marian Shearer, Rick Cowles and Freeman Palmer, had a final moment together as we closed worship at Silver Bay.
