Proposed Updated Mission Statement
For The Metropolitan Association New York Conference,
United Church of Christ

This revised Mission Statement will appear at the beginning of the By-laws and be used as a guide for the Metropolitan Association Board of Directors.

The United Church of Christ New York Conference Metropolitan Association is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to welcome the diverse worship of God, and to inspire in all Churches a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness and justice, and an awareness of our duties to God and to each other. We covenant to demonstrate God’s grace-filled love with generosity through worshipping, witnessing and ministering to the needs of our community and the world.
